Christie Brinkley never marry again

Christie Brinkley vows that she'll never marry again. Christie Brinkley is an American model and actress best known for her three consecutive appearances on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. In a new interview with the UK newspaper The Telegraph, the former model opened up about her past marriages and why she'll never commit to another one again.

"I can now say unequivocally I would never get married again. There's absolutely no reason to. I learnt in my divorce that marriage is ridiculous. You take a vow but you don't get brownie points when you honor your vow and the other person doesn't," she said.

"The court doesn't recognize that. It's like, 'All right now, let's see how we're going to divvy up the kids.' Well, obviously, the one that didn't break the vows should be the role model. But no," she continued.

It is true that Brinkley, who is currently playing Roxie Hart in the Broadway show Chicago, looks much more youthful than her actual age. Good genes or good plastic surgeon? We may never know as Brinkley is not talking about that, but she is opening up about her four failed marriages.

She married her first husband, Jean Francois Allaux, and divorced him in 1981, followed by Billy Joel and Ricky Taubman. Her marriage to her last husband, Peter Cook, ended badly when he was caught having an affair with an 18 year old girl and even paid her $300,000 to keep quiet.

She and Cook have two children, Jack and Sailor, together and she was awarded sole custody, however, in the divorce settlement she had to pay him $2.1 million and allow him "parenting time."

Brinkley's four marriages were to artist Jean Francois Allaux, musician Billy Joel, real estate developer Richard Taubman and most recently to architect Peter Halsey Cook. Brinkley and Cook finalized their divorce in October of 2008. She says she is single and loving it.

Rebecca Black to release new music video

Rebecca Black is a fun, loving, loves to sing, dance and act, and she is always looking to try something new. Now in 8th grade, she landed the lead role in her school musical, Oklahoma! Black, who recently celebrated her 14th birthday, will release a new music video called My Moment.

The history of music is littered with one hit wonders. For every band with multiple, multi platinum albums, there's a dozen who came, saw, conquered and abruptly dropped back into irrelevancy. It's hard to maintain longevity, especially when you're known for a novelty. Apart from Weird Al Yankovic, Tenacious D and a select few others, nearly every musician made popular through laughter has found repeating that success nearly impossible, but damnit if they don't still try.

Internet sensation Rebecca Black has announced she's set to debut her follow up single . The track will go live on the artist's YouTube Channel on July to be followed by an iTunes for sale release the following day. It's called My Moment, and its video will portray the singer's meteoric rise to fame. The My Moment video shows the young singer getting an award at school and attending red carpet premieres. It tells the story of Black’s sudden rise to fame, It’s a fairytale story, but it happened in real life.

I'm not always the first to be up on viral videos. I was at least a year behind on Bubb Rubb and a few weeks late on The Food Critic, but I am proud to say I was all over Rebecca Black before any of my friends. I'd like to think I was responsible for at least ten thousand. Unfortunately, there's no way to scientifically prove that wild claim. Best just let it go and prepare for the next sensation, which if Rebecca Black has her way, will be My Moment. We'll see.

The Adventures of Tintin teaser trailer

Indiana Jones is a fictional American adventurer, OSS operative, professor of archaeology, and the central protagonist of the Indiana Jones franchise. Indiana Jones remains one of cinema's most revered movie characters. Steven Spielberg hasn’t had a film in theatres since 2008′s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Many fans found that film to be a major disappointment and a letdown in terms of delivering an exciting adventure spectacle. With his next film though, it seems like the famed director has learnt from his mistakes.

From the look of this sparkling new trailer for his next directorial effort, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, Spielberg seems to be more than making up for the edge of your seat entertainment that was oddly lacking in the 4th Indiana Jones outing.

The film does look to be constructed similarly to an Indiana Jones film, mixing mythology and action to create a thrilling adventure ride, as well as bringing a slight period setting. This is not entirely accidental, Spielberg is a massive fan of Tintin and there is no doubt that part of the inspiration for Indiana Jones comes from Herge’s classic comic book hero. For me, this new trailer conveys exactly what the film should deliver, which is intrigue and entertainment.

Personally I love the look of it and the stylised motion capture is clearly something they are spending a lot of time on and it does look spectacular. Many fans of the original comics may turn up their noses but Spielberg and executive producer Peter Jackson are trying to deliver something as close as possible to the source material.

The film has magnificent pedigree with Spielberg and Jackson behind the camera in directing and producing roles respectively, but the screenplay is penned by Edgar Wright, Attack the Block‘s Joe Cornish and Doctor Who’s Steven Moffat. In front of the camera is an impressive cast, with Jamie Bell heading up as Tintin, with support from Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Daniel Craig, Toby Jones and Cary Elwes. The film opens in the UK in October and in December in the US.

Selena Gomez not in 'Sex And The City' prequel

Selena Gomez has shot down reports that she has been signed to play the younger version of Kristin Davis' character in a Sex and the City prequel. That was a compliment and I was very surprised when I heard that it was very sweet, but there is nothing official and I've never even been approached or anything. The 18 year old star admits she is not a SATC fan as she was too young to watch it when it first hit TV screens, adding, My mum is more of a fan, because I wasn't really allowed to watch it when I was younger.

Matthew and Kate welcomed a healthy baby boy

She came to prominence in 2001 after receiving an Oscar nomination and a Golden Globe for her role in the drama Almost Famous, and has since established herself as a Hollywood lead actress, starring in several films, including How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Skeleton Key, You, Me and Dupree, Fool's Gold, and Bride Wars. Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have become parents to a baby boy. The couple's first child together, a healthy baby boy, was born in Los Angeles.

Hollywood star Kate, 32, already has a seven year old son, Ryder, with her former husband, Black Crowes lead singer Chris Robinson, who she divorced in 2007. The actress and her Muse frontman fiance, who got engaged in April, did not know the sex of the child before the birth but Kate has previously said that she thought she was having a girl. The film star daughter of actress Goldie Hawn said in a recent interview that she had been doing the pendulum test to determine the sex of the child, adding, It goes in a circle if it's a girl and it usually goes back and forth if it's a boy.

Kate is so nuts in here. It's got the Hawn gene. It's got my mum's lineage for sure. It's dancing every day, she said. The actress, whose stepfather is the actor Kurt Russell, has previously said of her British rock star fiance, He's a beautiful man and I'm excited. Kate was nominated for an Oscar for 2000's Almost Famous, and is reported to have been offered the role of porn legend Linda Lovelace in a new biopic.

William and Kate spend last day in California

Prince William played well enough in a charity polo match Saturday to earn public kisses from his wife and then mingled with a dazzling array of Hollywood royalty eager to meet the newlyweds on their visit to Southern California.

At the midpoint of their tour, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wowed a crowd at a sun splashed polo field and then swung to the glamour of a black tie evening event that drew Nicole Kidman, Tom Hanks, Barbra Streisand, Blake Lively and Jennifer Lopez, among many others.

On Sunday Britain's Prince William and his wife, Catherine, will start their last day in Los Angeles, where they'll see an arts program for inner city children.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge combined commerce and charity work during their three days in Southern California following a visit to Canada.

Weekend events included the prince's participation in a polo competition in Carpinteria, California, on Saturday afternoon.

Prince William and his team won the match after he scored four goals in the final game. His reward? A sterling silver and gold trophy, along with a kiss from his wife.

Proceeds from the match go to a foundation supported by the prince and his brother that helps disadvantaged youth, sustainable development and military families.

The royal couple has had a busy stay, which included a meeting with thespians and Hollywood's elite during an event by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts on Saturday night.

While Beverly Hills is the land of the famous, the visit by the recently married couple has caused a major stir.

Spago, Wolfgang Puck's restaurant, offered a British menu for the duration, including dishes served during the royal wedding festivities. The Beverly Hills eatery added Yorkshire pudding to its menu for the weekend.

Not to be outdone, the city's famously aggressive paparazzi tried to pursue the newlyweds at a private party at the British consul general's Hollywood home.

Neighbors surrounding the residence, where the royals also spent the night, gave police permission to arrest photographers caught on private property.

Girlfriend Minka Kelly celebrates milestone with Derek Jeter 3000 hits

Minka Dumont Kelly  is an American actress. She is the only child of former Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay and Maureen Dumont Kelly, an exotic dancer and single mother who often moved with her daughter to different communities. Minka Kelly couldn’t stay out of the spotlight. Not this time. Not with 3,000 on the line.

The Hollywood actress was in a suite at Yankees Stadium, alongside Jeter’s immediate family, for Saturday’s Yankees game against Tampa Bay. And she, like everyone in else, was caught up in the moment when Jeter slugged a 3 2 curveball over the left field fence for hit No. 3,000.

Although Jeter is fiercely private with the media about his social life, he and Kelly are in a steady relationship. It’s been widely reported that the two are engaged.

Jeter won’t confirm those reports, which should come as no surprise to those who have tracked Jeter’s off field life.

Although he’s been linked to stars like Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Alba and Mariah Carey, Jeter was mum to the New York media on those relationships, too.

Clearly, his personal life has no impact on his baseball performance. Jeter is just the 28th player in Major League history to reach the hallowed 3,000 hit milestone.

Dolly Parton Is Still Serious About the Music

Dolly Rebecca Parton is an American singer songwriter, author, multi instrumentalist, actress and philanthropist, best known for her work in country music. She is one of the most successful female country artists, garnering the title of  The Queen of Country Music.

Dolly is the first to say she’s not the youngest singer in the business. She is name dropped by young artists like Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum as an artist that has inspired them in their own careers. Despite the youth of today’s hit makers, Dolly is still hanging tough in the industry  and taking on new technology.

Dolly released her latest album, Better Day, last week.  The album, which debuted at No. 9 on Billboard’s Country Chart, is full of songs that are meant to be uplifting. Dolly penned all the songs on the album which were inspired by events like the tsunami in Japan, conflict in the Middle East and America’s economic crisis.

I don’t write just to relieve my own anxieties, I write for the people who can’t express themselves, Dolly said. I can’t save the world, but I might be able to save someone today if I can put them in a better mood. The music’s designed to be like a ray of sunshine for all those folks in the dark.

Dolly recently stopped by the GAC studios to chat about her new album and upcoming world tour. She had a lot to say so if you missed her.

Harry Potter: The madness begins

Harry Potter's saga is ending, but his magic spell remains. Thousands of fans from around the world massed in London on Thursday for the premiere of the final film in the magical adventure series.

They thronged Trafalgar Square, where the stars walked a rain sodden red carpet, and nearby Leicester Square, where the movie was being shown in a plush movie theatre, braving the inevitable London rain with umbrellas, waterproofs and good cheer.

Sun broke out as cast members, including leads Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, and Harry's creator J.K. Rowling began arriving on the red carpet, signing autographs and chatting with fans.

Speaking from a stage erected in Trafalgar Square, 21 year old Radcliffe, who has played the boy wizard since he was 11, told fans that Harry's story would never end.

he said that Each and every person, not just here in this square but around the world who have watched these films for the last 10 years, they will always carry the films with them for the rest of their lives.

Rowling wiped away tears as she thanked the actors for the amazing things they did for my favourite characters. The fans, who chanted thank you as Rowling and the cast took the stage, came from around the world. Many had camped out overnight, some for days. Most were young adults who grew up with the boy wizard and his adventures, and could not pass up the chance to say goodbye.

Luis Guilherme said that It's our childhood we made friends because of Harry Potter, a 22 year old graduate student from Sao Paolo, Brazil. I don't know how my life would be without it. I would be less imaginative, for sure, and less adventurous. I would never be here in London.

We'd never forgive ourselves if we didn't come, one last time. The feeling is shared by the film's stars, who like many of their fans grew up with the series.

Johnny Depp's not done being Jack

John Christopher Johnny Depp is an American actor and musician. He has won the Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild award for Best Actor. Johnny Depp is close to signing a deal to star in a fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film after the latest instalment in the blockbuster series passed the $1 billion  mark at the global box office last week.

Studio Disney are said to be keen to secure Depp's services for another turn as Captain Jack Sparrow, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer has reportedly stated that there is no way for the franchise to continue without him. Some reports suggest Depp had an outlandishly profitable back end deal which means he is likely to pocket close to $350 million for his swashbuckling escapades over the last four movies.

According to the Wrap, which quotes an inside source, a rough draft of the script for Pirates 5 is already in, and Bruckheimer is meeting three to four times a week with executives and screenwriters to improve it.

David shows off Posh's baby bump

Victoria Caroline Beckham  is an English singer songwriter, dancer, model, actress, fashion designer and businesswoman. Singer turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham has been shying away from flaunting her baby bump, but her husband, soccer star David, has posted her picture on Facebook.

Took this pic of Victoria while she wasn't looking. She looks amazing, so close now to the baby being born, David wrote.

In the black and white shot, the former Spice Girl, 37, is seen reclining in the sun wearing a skirt and bandeau style top and dark sunglasses.

The candid shot comes days after Beckham had said that she doesn't want to expose her bare bump for magazine covers.

Rekha: Star power

Bhanurekha Ganesan is an Indian actress who has appeared in Bollywood films. Noted for her versatility and acknowledged as one of the finest actresses of Hindi cinema. Remember the well loved tale of the ugly duckling at the receiving end of cruel jibes until it was transformed into a beautiful swan? That story has amazing parallels with the life Rekha aka The Bollywood Queen. Once dismissed as a fat and mediocre actor in Sawan Badhon her debut film as a lead, in a passage of a few years she gripped the popular imagination with her sultry and alluring persona.

Explaining how she achieved this seemingly Herculean task, Rekha told Filmfare magazine, To be a master, you have to persevere. There's no easy way out. I realised that my body is the temple of my existence.

I realised the importance of a nutritious diet. You needn't diet. You can live it. Regular exercise is almost like an education. You've gotta make the rules, you stick by it. And try not to hurt anyone. Lastly what keeps me going is my faith in the Unknown Force. That fascinates me. Then I'm glad just to be ALIVE.

Rekha's stunning looks are apparent in her films, her first big break, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar which was believed to be the beginning of the Amitahb Rekha romance , Other hits were Do Anjaane, Ghar, Silsila, Umrao Jaan, Kamasutra, Khubsoorat, Basera and Agar Tum Na Hote. Khubsoorat bagged her the Filmfare Award of best actress. Later that year she was the proud recipient of the National award for film Umrao Jaan. Likewise, in subsequent years she won theFilmfare award for best actress for Khoon Bhari Maang and Filmfare award for best supporting actress for Khiladiyon Ke Khiladi. A big surprise was the1998 U.P. award for the best kathak dancer in Hindi films. Installed by the King of Kathak, Pandit Lachchu Maharaj, the ceremony also commemorated the maestro's 97th birth anniversary.

Controversy has dogged Rekha through her 40 year film career. Early on, recalls faded actor Rehana Sultan in an interview that appeared in Filmfare magazine. she shot to fame as the kiss girl

Today she leads a Garboesque existence. More or less cut off from the world, the only people who have access to her are her best friend and secretary Farzana, her make up woman Hatija, Surinder, an airhostess and a friend in Hyderabad. The only time the public gets to see her is on screen or at Bollywood do's where she never fails to look stunning.

Ash and Madhur issues sorted out

The Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has come to daughter in law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s favor as there are saying about some differences between Ash and film maker Madhur Bhandarkar came into light. Big B told media that the rifts between Ash and Madhur have been resolved.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has for the first time spoken out about the controversy that arose after the shooting of Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine was halted following the news of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's pregnancy.

It is a matter between Aishwarya and the producers of the film. I can't comment on it. They have sorted out the issues between them, Bachchan said on Friday.

Despite that if someone expresses their feelings they have the right to do it. And later others will also express their feelings and this how the truth will come out, he added.

The film maker confessed in his blog that he was depressed as Heroine was one film close to his heart. After Heroine, Bhandarkar's most ambitious project, was put on the back burner indefinitely following the news of Rai Bachchan's pregnancy, the acclaimed filmmaker said on his blog that he went into depression and that he's upset that the truth was hidden from him.

Zoya Akhtar says Katrina and Kalki are perfec

Actresses consumed by their internal politics make it very difficult for a director to feature more than one, says director Zoya Akhtar, but she is happy to have Kalki Koechlin with Katrina Kaif in her forthcoming film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, which releases in the UAE on Thursday.

Akhtar said that You have to understand that in the Hindi film industry it's very difficult to star two actresses in a particular film. Like Katrina is in the movie and she is a superstar, then a lot of superstars you want to approach won't agree to do the kind of role Kalki did in the film. There is too much politics

However, she has high regard for Koechlin's acting capabilities and feels the Indian actress of French descent fitted the bill for the character she conceived.

Kalki is a very interesting actress. She is very edgy. Kalki had no such notion. She doesn't come from that school. She's a wonderful actress. I met her through Anurag. I saw her in Dev D and also the yet unreleased The Girl in Yellow Boots and she is superb in it.

Koechlin is married to Kashyap. She has got a very different role. She is not the heroine of the film. She has that sense of comedy and not over the top. I needed that balance in an actress who could pull that off. I needed someone with that sensibility and Kalki was perfect.

Selena Gomez Loves Scrapbooks, Receives Them from Fans

Selena Marie Gomez is an American actress, singer, and entrepreneur, best known for portraying Alex Russo in the Emmy Award winning Disney Channel television series Wizards of Waverly Place. Her career has expanded into the music industry; Gomez is the lead singer and founder of the pop band Selena Gomez & the Scene, which has released two RIAA Gold certified studio albums, Kiss & Tell and A Year Without Rain and spawned two RIAA Platinum certified singles, Naturally and Who Says.

Selena Gomez gets lots of interesting gifts from her fans, but the ones that stand out the most are scrapbooks. It's not known if the actress, singer and girlfriend of Justin Bieber actually likes to create her own scrapbooks, but she certainly does love receiving them. The Monte Carlo star explained during an interview in London on Thursday how the scrapbooks are her favorites. I got a bunch of scrapbooks. There were tons. Fans from around the world will send stuff in and then other fans will put it in a book. I love those.

Wouldn't you love to see the kinds of things that fans put inside the scrapbooks they create for Selena Gomez? Maybe they include pictures from her concerts or chance meetings with her. Could it be that fans theme their scrapbooks on things Gomez is into by maybe including photos of Justin Bieber, too?

It's hard to tell what comprises the scrapbooks that has Gomez so enthused. It's certainly a wonderful gesture on behalf of her fans for them to put the time and effort into making her scrapbooks. Scrapbooks are very detailed projects that can be tedious and creative at the same time. They typically aren't put together quickly and require a number of special embellishments in order to make them really nice. It says something about the character of Selena Gomez that she truly appreciates these gifts from fans.

When someone puts a bit of themself into something they've created, it's always nice to know that it means something to the recipient.

The legendary James Taylor

James Vernon Taylor is an American singer songwriter and guitarist born in Lenox, Massachusetts, and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He owns a house in the Berkshire County town of Washington, Massachusetts. A five time Grammy Award winner, Taylor was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. The legendary James Taylor, the man with a guitar who has written 150 songs, be able to hold an audience at the huge MEN Arena.

James Taylor who appeared on stage looking like a genial headmaster had them eating out of his hand. His ad lib chats with his fans should only work in a more intimate, smaller setting, but this laid back American who has been around since the 60s when he was the original troubled teenager  with a capital T, is older and wiser and knows his audience.

Although at times he appeared slightly uncomfortable, he went through his repertoire and at one point had the entire audience on its feet. He also took his fans through a whistle stop tour of his life, warts and all. From his bluesy ballads to his stomping rock songs, the 63 year old showed just why he has earned 40 gold, platinum and multi platinum awards. The man who looks like his guitar is grafted on to his arm, came across as a truly nice guy, and his mellow music was good too!

However, there was one thing missing  the number one hit single You’ve Got a Friend, was not part of his set, much to a lot of people’s disappointment. However, Manchester forgave him and he will always have friends in this city.

On a mission for Lebanon

Nadine Labaki may be considered an exotic celebrity in Western cinema circles but the director and actress feels she is on a mission for Lebanon when she shows her films at international festivals. Where Do We Go Now?, her second full length feature film, recently premiered in Cannes. It follows Caramel, her first internationally acclaimed feature that appeared in2007. Lebanon is not particularly well known for its cinema. Other countries in the region, such as Egypt, Turkey and Iran, produce many more commercial and art house films.

But Labaki, 37, is one of a handful of talented Lebanese filmmakers who have risen to prominence since the 1975-1990 civil war. They are considered the heirs of such directors as Maroun Baghdadi, who raised the profile of Lebanon's cinema before and during the war with films such as Beirut Oh Beirut. Despite the small scale of Lebanon's cinema industry, its films have generally been well received at international festivals. Their themes usually deal with war and sectarianism, which remain the country's biggest problems.

The successful releases include Ziad Doueiry's West Beirut, Gassan Salhab's Terra Incognita and The Last Man, and Danielle Arbid's In the Battlefields. Labaki holds the record at the box office with Caramel, which has played in more than 40 countries. It tells the story of five Lebanese women who work and meet in a beauty salon. They suffer from the contradictions of a traditional society regarding religion, love, marriage and sex behind the façade of an open society. Labaki, a Christian Lebanese, as she describes herself, admits she has not overcome these contradictions in her personal and professional life.

As a single woman, she had to live with her parents until a few years ago. Now married, she does not feel easy about Hollywood standards should she ever decide to act there. She insists that she is not obsessed with Hollywood and that she will pursue her ambitions in Lebanon. The ideas for her films, which she co writes, stem from personal concerns. Where Do We Go Now? was born of her frustration at seeing another religious conflict erupt in May 2008.

At the time, she was pregnant and thinking how she would have felt if her son chose to resort to weapons. The film, to be screened publicly in September, shows how the Christian and Muslim women in a village behave in the face of sectarianism.

She is not sure what project she will pursue next, nor how long it might take, given the nature of the Lebanese film industry. She finds the fact that it lacks the necessary funds and institutions both a blessing and a curse. While it is difficult not having an established structure to follow, this nevertheless gives her the freedom to create the magical moment of truth.

The incentives for domestic producers to invest in feature length films in a country with a population of only 4 million are not strong. Lebanon's cinema is also overshadowed by a thriving advertising business and video art sector that dominates in the region. Advertising and music videos are where Labaki began her career. Many Lebanese artists pursue a similar path as soon as they see another music video of Nancy Ajram, a pop singer, or inspiring commercials.

Labaki is trying to establish her own film style by using non professional actors and improvising dialogue on set to make the features as original as possible. However, she has domestic critics who see her playing into Western stereotypes of the Middle East to win international awards. Nadine is smart, mature and savvy, but she is working to seduce Western public opinion.
Her image of Lebanon is superficial and seems like an idealisation of Lebanon by not addressing such real problems as a corrupt political class, having no citizenship or a unified and civic education system.

The actress plays a dentist who sexually harasses her assistant in Horrible Bosses.

In her new film Horrible Bosses, Jennifer Aniston's character is one you haven't seen her play before. She's a dentist who sexually harasses her assistant, complete with lewd dialogue, revealing outfits and outlandish advances.

She's the latest actress to take on a raunchy role, usually reserved for men, after the recent trail of trash talk from Cameron Diaz in Bad Teacher and the cast of Bridesmaids.

Better known for playing sweeter characters in romantic comedies, Aniston acknowledges that her Bosses role is a departure, but she says she couldn't resist sinking her teeth into something this juicy.

The minute it showed up at my door and I read her first scene, I was dying to do it, the actress said in a recent interview to promote the film.

Aniston also admits, however, that she wondered what she had gotten herself into. she says that The truth is when you get there, you go, Oh God, now she have to do this, like, in front of people.

Aniston refers to one scene where she's trying to blackmail her assistant Charlie Day into having an affair with her, using photos she took of him while he was unconscious.

The 42 year old actress declined to comment on her reported relationship with Justin Theroux, her co star in the film Wanderlust and someone she has been seen with around New York City.

She does concede she's spending more time in Manhattan these days, amid media reports she just purchased a West Village apartment. But while she loves being in New York, Aniston says she hasn't abandoned her home base in Los Angeles. Instead, she says, she will be bopping back and forth for now.

As for reports that she stole Theroux from his girlfriend, Aniston says she just blocks out that sort of press as much as she can. You turn it off. You can't listen to it. It's toxic. It's noise. It's soap opera stories. It's headlines. It's selling magazines, she says.

Aniston says that while such news coverage is part of our culture, unfortunately, she doesn't understand it. People don't like good news. People want bad news sometimes.

Facebook gearing up for several big announcements

Facebook is readying a slew of new products to debut soon, said Zuckerberg, the company's CEO, at a news conference here on Wednesday. Programmers have been toiling away this year on several major projects in anticipation of this accelerationperiod. Zuckerberg  told that they had been busy building stuff for the past six months or so, and today marks the beginning of what we'll call Launching Season 2011,And Over the next coming weeks and months, They just have a lot of fun stuff to roll out.

The starting gun for this stage of frequent product updates sounded at Wednesday's event, which served as a launch pad for new messaging tools. People will be able to make video calls on Facebook's site, thanks to a partnership with Skype, and create impromptu chat rooms. To keep the new features rolling in anticipation of a launching season, Facebook sets tight deadlines on development teams. Facebook software engineers often find themselves working nights and weekends during these periods. They aren't directly asked to work after hours, Facebook spokeswoman Meredith Chin wrote in an e mail.  Last fall was very busy for Facebook. The company convened reporters for three news conferences during a four week span in October and November.

Facebook teams went into lockdown mode in June, when the engineers basically had to work weekends through summer, said Ray Valdes, an Internet analyst for Gartner Research. They work furiously in spring and early summer, and release in the end of summer, early fall, There must be some internal clock. While the clock isn't tuned precisely to last year's ticker, Zuckerberg's acknowledgement of the practice could suggest a new trend for the fledgling company. Many tech giants operate in cycles. Apple, for example, has gotten into the habit of releasing new iPads in the spring, iPhones in the summer and iPods in the fall.  In the tech industry, companies are always looking for the right moment to unleash their products, said Susan Etlinger, an analyst for consulting firm Altimeter Group. Facebook may be settling into a groove.

That Facebook is defining a product strategy, with an emphasis on improving the service, rather than on simply signing up additional members, shows maturity, Etlinger said. The timing is right because the site may be nearing a saturation point, with 750 million active users.Other projects in the works include a revamped Web based version of Facebook for smartphones, which will let third party developers easily shrink their Facebook apps and run them on a phone, as well as a sleek app for sharing photos, according to reports from the blog TechCrunch. Mobile is an important area where Facebook can grow, Zuckerberg and analysts agree. As Google tries to gain a toehold in social networking with Google and Myspace operates under a new corporate parent.

Facebook is amassing an arsenal of features to unleash in the next few months.Zuckerberg seems confident that he has ample ammunition to fend off the competition, but is there a Buggs Bunny lying in wait?
